Welcome to the website of San Diego's South Park Bar & Grill.  For those of you who haven't stopped by yet, the best way to describe us is that if "Cheers" was a neighborhood bar and grill, it would be here in the charming and historical  community of South Park and be called by the same name. 

A Little Bit About Us

The South Park Bar & Grill is a cozy and comfortable restaurant established in May 2003.  We offer delicious California comfort cuisine that even your grandmother would love complemented by a full bar featuring premium spirits, fine wines, and a wide assortment of select domestic and imported beer.  And we have a whole group of friendly bartenders and servers to make your visit to our home enjoyable and memorable.

When restaurateur John Kopecky, a native San Diegan and long time guitarist, first took over a defunct Cuban restaurant, he made sure to locate a stage at one end of the bar area, visible both from the bar and the dining room.  Now to John's delight, that stage plays host to many of San Diego's finest musicians nightly, emphasizing live blues and jazz, but also showcasing R&B, pop, and classical music artists. 

And for our customers who develop those pesky late night munchies, we keep the kitchen open until midnight Wednesday through Saturday so you can grab one of our juicy 1/2 pound burgers, appetizers, or salads to put your stomach right.

The South Park Bar & Grill is located in the heart of the historic South Park neighborhood, just east of Downtown, north of Golden Hill, and south of North Park and Burlingame.  We're conveniently located just minutes from most parts of San Diego and right up the hill from Downtown.  Check our Location here
